CITY OF SALINAS
Salinas has a history rich with legends. Their pre-spanish culture is related to Valdivia,

Machalilla and Guangala. Salinas has an average temperature of 24ºC (80ºF), known for its beaches and weather all year round. The best time to hit the beaches is from December to May.
Being a fair sized town, Salinas has some variety of places to eat as well as different types of places to go. Although Salinas doesn't offer the selection of Quito or Guayaquil, it still has it's share of fancy, local and fast food restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours.
Salinas also has enough of a nightlife to get you out of the hostel and into a disco, a bar or pool hall. Some names of discos are Barba Negra Disco, La Movida Disco and De Lujo Disco.
